I spent 6 weeks in my home away from home in Siesta Key Florida in October and November, 2006. The quartz sand does wonders for the soul. I am living it up at my other home in Hotel California near San Francisco right now. I have begun to fly once again but only in the States....I enjoyed making the trips to Maine, Florida, Colorado and Arizona in 2006 and am moving on from there to travel even more in 2007. Not too shabby for someone who isn't supposed to walk for 5-7 years. I do encores too. :-P I spent a lot of time with my Godparents Julian and Elaine last year which was so nice to be able to do. They stayed in my condo for a bit too. If you know me and wish to see that beautiful island, all you need to do is let me know and email me or call using this thing called a telephone. I'm all Bluetooth so your calls are welcome. My wish is to connect with even more relatives and new friends this year. While in Colorado for my Valedictorian niece Kelley's High School graduation as a Boetcher Scholar Like her brother T.C. who is working on his Masters at 23 at London School of Economics. Yes, bragging included. He's fluent in Germany too so his schooling there last year was a breeze hanging with the locals as if he were one...turns out....he is. Mike found a photo of his Grandfather in 1908 while surfing virtual bluetooth waves on a website and by chance and could not believe his eyes...he did not even own a picture of his Grandfather and was floored to put it mildly. This has opened a floodgate to his realitves in Germany & Bulgaria within the Zoeller family ......I intended to connect with my very own Mothership while in Denver, but my ship arrived two days before Mom set sail for Port Texas. This port contains precious cargo with her second in command to the throne along with 4 special heirs to her heart whom I plan to see this year. I won't be as equipped though....Preparing your ship properly for 4 hungry kids waiting for your homemade turkey soup you made does indeed take some planning. I hope the kids enjoy the real treat they get by having yummy food hand driven to their doorstep...now that's first rate delivery service. I am continuing to relearn music again this year and went to the Warfield to see the almost reunited Axl me no questions and tell me no lies about a Gun's N Roses show. I Went with a friend & former guitar player in numerous of my various bands gone by. Thank you Dougie for sticking with me. I did some hocus pocus upon arrival and pooftwo backstage passes enabled us to watch Axl's tantrums with closer acuity. Doug's jaw can still be found on the floor next to the mixing board...we didn't have to stand smashing pumpkins elbow to elbow with the sold out crowd and dined at our own table . Sebastian Bach of Skid Row still adores himself and was the opener. He & I go way back stage after he opened for the Aerosmith show at the Cow Palace in the early 90's. I wonder if he'll ever close? The entourage all adjourned to the infamous Mitchell O'Farrell Brother's lets say....Gentlemans Club after eating at Mel's Diner with Amber Lynn posing as Queen of all things in her floor length fox fur she let me use for the night. More of her was able to be seen by her fans of her great films none of whom could give me a name of one. I believe they are all called XXX and Double DDDX. For those who don't know Mel's Diner...at 3 am it's packed on any night. (no, no realtion to Melody btw...the famous diner of course) Normally, people in the fame world would be noticed but not one person gave Steven Tyler or any other members of Aerosmith or Skid Row the time of day when Amber was in the room. Apparently, she's near and dear to every male who had that classic Farrah poster or Carly Simon's We Have No Secrets album cover as their reasons to exist in the 70's. I left a few days later for Siesta Key and lo & behold...across the country in all the gin joints in all the world...Sebastian had to walk in to mine at Maximo on Siesta Key a block from my condo in the Village. He does not remember our first meeting conversation perse but he was asking certain women their hourly rates that evening with Amber Lynn and I politely informed him he hadn't enough cash to spend the evening with me. I then walked wtih Amber and her enterouge to our hotel with her fox coat on and 30,000 she made at the 'club' that night in a briefcase I had in my car. Aerosmith went to an AA meeting after that and I went back to life, back to reality...back to the here and now.
I wish to return to Makati/Quezon City PI to see my friends Rey & Maricar. I would also like to see Mom, Aunt Judy, & their my first cousins Car, Jen & Ali with my sisters Amey, Blake & Erin and niece & nephew's Kensey (my Almost Perfect Angel), Maren, Prather, Corbin, Ferris, Griffin, Paige & P.J. not to mention more wonderful cousins Andy & Liv, Charlie, Annie, Grace, Ellie, Danny & William & more nieces/nephews Kelley, Travis, Ginny & Scottie. I'm always in pursuit of new friends or long lost relatives I've not had time to make time to see since my accident. I had such a nice time with some 2nd cousins & some 1st cousins once removed in Maine & hope to follow suit this year with even more by connecting with my Ingraham side of the family ties. Hi Helen, Harriet, Robbie, Diego, William, Sarah, William and Samuel........all you 'fellows' rock. Finally, the first 19 days of the year will be spent looking forward to my Dad flying out from Maryland next weekend. We won't be painting the town red but I'm sure we will leave some parts of our hearts in San Francisco taking in some sites. Well, that's all for now. It's too late baby now, it's too late.........and I really am going to make it. I'm living proof wonders never do cease. Peace Out
